Default Federer's string tensions at different slams and surfaces?

From last year's US Open string log, http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:Q...ingLog.jpg&t=1

Federer was using gut/lux combo at 46/43lbs, so we know this was his setup on fast hardcourt (probably the same for Toronto and Cinci).

What were his string tensions for the French Open, Wimbledon and Australian Open?

46/43? I would guess thats DT (dynamic tension) and not static tension....or maybe not

he said that his tensions vary from 25-28kg, depending on the surface (on his website).

Its the tension during impact, as opposed to static tension when the strings are at rest. So how tight the strings are/feel, your tension when you hit the ball.

It's static tension. Federer- 21/19.5 (=46/43lbs)

On the same stringlog Nadal's were 25/25. Tsonga- 28/27. Berdych- 28/26.

Yahoo answers stuff is TOTAL ********.

SOMETIMES you get lucky and SOMEONE knows what they're talking about. Even then, it's not always the "best answer"...

His tensions have been loosening up over the years. That's all I can say.

I believe that Federer's BLX6.1 that Fabfed just got has a sticker that says 22.5kg +- 1kg for clay and hard, so about 22 for clay and grass and about 23 for hardcourts
