Default Zvonareva's stringer?

She is breaking strings like crazy today and the french commentator implied that when they break like this (close to the frame), it's most likely the stringer's fault. Really?

The stringer probably let the string kink by the grommet, easily causes breakage. Or maybe she just shanked the hell out of the ball.

Nah, it's more serious than that. She broke 5 so far and she's running out of racquets.

The commentator said that one didn't have the vibration dampener she wanted...I don't know if that's actually the case though.

^ But she doesn't have a dampener... does she?

I kinda heard that she said it was broken already, but that didn't make sense. Strange indeed.

Well Im watching online, and on a changeover the umpire was telling the ball girl, saying that the string is breaking on the way back to the court and to go get more sets of strings from her coach. Cuz Vera pulled a fresh one straight from the bag, and saw that it was broken.

I coulda sworn she broke her strings on the string-bed, but of course the TV angle was funky.

it looked like she was using a syn gut. but if it was breaking that fast it was probably natural gut
