Hi all

Been around for some time, decided to register and give my contribution for this boards.

My racquet background

Head flexpoint heat
Babolat pure storm tour
Wilson k blade 98

Was demoing the blx bade 98, head yt radical mp, six one 95 and the six one team.

Decided to go with a couple of teams, very happy with them since 2 months ago think I finally found my definite racquets.

Wilson six one team, black widow @ 52 lbs

Adidas Barricade team

They're derived from the Pro Staff Classic mold, the M1 is basically a direct copy with exactly the same specs sans the PWS and the kevlar whereas the M2 which I have is about an ounce lighter and a bit more flexible. Great racquets really!

Thanks - I looked them up on the web...they are going for really cheap on the bay I think I might order some to give them a try. Any downside of the missing PWS? I like their simple finish as well.

this thread is crazy, why the hell would an amateur player need more then 10 rackets, and in some cases 10 brand new ones

KPS88 is a good racket but has a lot more power than the 85.
The 85 still feels way better and it's swingpath is the best you will experience in any racket (ploughthrough)
I do have a SV, it will be a long time if I do decide to sell them.

It is not a need, it is a desire, or in advanced states an obsession ((let's say once you cracked the 100 mark) but it is a slippery slope down insanity way...has anybody heard of a cure yet? Some people seem to have been successful with a drug called W.I.F.E. ...but it has considerable side effects too (or so I heard)

I use them at times, as you would guess it's not that often. Also, I can't really compare the Mega Age to the Wilsons as I've never played a PSC.

I've got a fourth, but I haven't put a grip on it or strung it yet. I love these frames. Classic feel with a ton more spin from the extra length.
what finishing tape do you use (yellow)?

10 of the same frame, I can understand. Frames are discontinued after 1-2years and one doesn't want to mess with their holy grail.

10 different frames in a bag and you take them all out onto the court,

eg, I use 2 rackets during the hitting because I have sweaty hands, and I need to rotate to let the grip of the rackets dry. Simple
