Sorry that did come across bad didn't it

I'm just surprised as over the half the seats were already sold when I got that email back then, let alone now. Unless they release them in batches or something.

It's been phased so i think you are right.Barclays customers got an email a while ago, LTA people then a week or two ago those who are known to the wimbledon site.
Only since March '92 Meags?

Got back last night, that is so true. Looking up from the court and seeing the background was amazing. I got to see federer at last as well, I always missed him at wimbledon. I could have saw him when he was on court 1 but I got stuck watching isner v mahut instead

Im happy as the big show falls just prior to earth's doom and the December apocalypse when the meteor 'Serena' (aptly named) passes too close to our atmosphere setting our magnetic field into a wobbly frenzy and causing the earth to spin off its axis and head along the web of gravity into the welcome arms of the sun. Default Dunlop M-Fil 300 and the new Pure Drive GT...

Nice session today. 11C, spring winning at last!

Hit with an M-Fil 300 - enjoyed it a lot! Honeymoon? Probably, but at least it's love at the mo! Not as solid as the nBlade but gave me the power I've hungered for. Served much better after switching to it during the hit.

Now onto the 2012 Pure Drive GT-C or whatever it's called, very solid racquet. Meaghan thunk test was a big pass, good off both wings during the short demo, lots of spin! Actually feels comfortable with the multi that it had. Nice hit, alas I know what it'll do to my shoulder and elbow regardless of how comfy it felt. Wish I could play with stiff racquets!

I can very much appreciate your comments in that bit, not fair all these people having all this "free" extra power and i'm flailling and spinning wildly to get the ball to the opposite baseline.

I'd completely forgotten about that also! I'll be in the USA for Xmas. Does this mean my chances of salvation are increased or decreased? I'll be surrounded by more of the "biblically driven" but I'll also be near that hub of sin that is NYC. If I was near Vegas I'd be laughing...heaven here I come

Oh yes, managed to get the afternoon off so saw the lot! Sprinter Sacre was performance of the day in the Arkle for me, what an awesome display of jumping! Champion Hurdle was a good race, sadly Hurricane Fly never got going despite travelling comfortably early on, when Overturn stepped on the gas, Fly just couldn't/wouldn't respond.

Full days at work tomorrow and thurs, but expecting Grand Crus and Sizing Europe to walk it tomorrow! Will be there Friday for the Gold Cup though! Head says Long Run, heart says Kauto!

Cheers

Default Whiplash!

Suffering whiplash, from tennis.

Playing a few days ago, running for a short angled ball and slipped on sandy astroturf. Landed on my rump/derriere/bum/rear/butt and arm. Managed to avoid hitting the back of my head on the turf but the impact jolted me badly. Missed the ball too!

Walking around the last few days with whiplash, getting out of bed in the morning is always a surprise as I forget it hurts till it does.

Tennis can be dangerous folks!

I'm in the same boat, my thigh felt a little tight in the cold last week, played midweek, fine, played sunday for three sets, fine, last set tho my groin and thigh really stiffened up and then I felt a warm spot at the back of my thigh, finished the set stupidly unable to walk properly. Next morning woke up to a lot of bruising around my hip and down the back of both my legs. It seems I have a groin strain and tweaked both hamstrings!

Trying too rest it so I can play on sunday
