^^^I'm struggling to dial in a string on the Storm Tours i've now got. I was on gut/spin-x in my prestige's, but I thought i'd have a play about before I go back to that! On my second dalliance with RPM (the first time I used it, it was the 15L cut from Rafa's own reel no less) and I hated it, this is the 16 and strung at 52 it's way too baggy and I still don't like it! Will probably string up another at 55ish to see of that's any better, currently second bat is strung with RAB texflex at 58 and is playing quite nicely.
Haven't been unfaithful to my strings in a long time - it's kind of fun!!! Cheers

^^^The Texflex seems to have settled down nicely. I'm still going back to gut though, got a set of RPM knocking around still so might try a hybrid with that, other wise back to gut/spin-x for me.
being unfaithful is hard work!

Anybody seen the lesser spotted dunlop biomimetic 200g max in the flesh yet. I cant be the only person in the UK that wants to try one. Its driving me crazy waiting for one to come up ... its just not happening
I even tried a old Dunlop 200g Pro Revelation this week to get me in the mood |

^^^Dags - tech and tactics. If you're referring to the backhands in some of the shots then yes the grips are extreme by able-bodied standards, because they are hitting reverse backhands (in other words it's a semi-western forehand grip, turned over to the backhand side and hit with the same face!). This is deliberate as grip changes mid rally are tougher and it facilitates hitting topspin off both sides on a ball which is regularly shoulder high (or higher).
One of the guys and and one of the girls have forehand grips more towards western, but they aren't players I work with (i'm not a fan of grips that extreme even in wheelchair tennis). I have hit in a chair (i'm not great Cheers

Reverse backhand you say... I'm tempted to try one of those now.
Thanks for the feedback, Ash. Hoping your guys get a lot of television coverage so that I can watch some more. I'm looking forward to that and the wheelchair rugby (why they didn't keep the original name of Murderball, I'll never know...)

Been asked about going to string at a tournament in India (yes, that's right, India). Would be cool to go. Looking into the logistics of it.

Now not going to India because it turns out the person who asked me, asked several other people at the same time and decided to go with the first person to respond, who is someone who lacks my experience and technical knowledge.
