You have to use parcel force for anything longer than 60cm and i'm afraid all adult racquets are over that. i just sent one to the us for £32 depends how much insurance and how long you want it to take.Expensive but there aren't many options.

I looked at the Royal Mail website and it seems to be correct (http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/c...iaId=118600951).
Items packed flat, Maximum size: length, width or height less than 600mm.

This has been the case for a while and the main reason why most of us don't send abroad. You got the basic price its about 45 squid tracked....!!

Thanks for the comments, going to contact the seller and see what he wants to do! You would think there wouldn't be such limitations sending packages within the EU, but I guess not

I use one of the many parcel sites online such as parcelmonkey.co.uk. They use couriers like DHL and are cheaper than Parcelforce. In saying that, sending rqts to Sweden is expensive anyway. I sent 1 to there and it cost around £22. Managed to send 1 to Germany for about £15. One of the good bits is that they can come and pick up the parcel from your house.

There's a few online, so search for parcels to sweden.

Regards

Paul

UKRH10s Bums,

Slightly different tensions on crosses and mains with a full poly job... come on then, why exactly? How is performance altered/improved?

Thanks,

R

Hello all,

Anyone hit with the Volkl PB9 at all? They're pretty scarce in UK stores, but I'm quite keen to demo one as I'm liking the specs on it.

Ta!

Thanks for this, in the end he was happy to pay for the additional postage so we got it all sorted, learnt my lesson though!

On a separte note, does anyone know where you can still buy a brand new K90? I've been searching all over the net but can't seem to find them!

You can still get the 16x18 K95 from TW USA! Only $130 so even after shipping/taxes it would be cheaper than rrp over here.

Last time I did a big order of about $250 it was about £25 taxes, so it's worth stocking up on strings/overgrips as it's so much cheaper

Strung for some Spanish fella today. Apparently he's quite good. Won a few slams. Typing in the dark is difficult, but my roommate is trying to sleep.

Anyone know somewhere selling Prestige bags? Been looking on fboy but not quite what I'm after. Definitely don't want the orange colour-scheme Rad bags sometimes advertized as Prestige bags, or the Murray signature bags either. Red, black, white, Prestige, holds 3-6 frames or whatever... where can I find this i the UK? Ta

I have a question relating to him. This week, my coach said to me 'I've got Nadal's string'. I cast a glance at his racquet and it still contained the PHT from the last time I strung it, so I replied 'Eh?'. He said it was in the car - some lady had collected his old (cut out) string from Wimbledon last year, and apparently turns it into a small ornament shaped like a tennis racquet before giving it to kids.

When you're stringing at the majors, do people ask for the old string? And if so, would you give it to them? I have visions of a crazy lady rooting through the bins behind your back.

We usually save some to give to the kids when they have a walk around the stringing room, and someone does turn it into mini rqts too.

Most of the used string gets binned.

when i hear paul and jamie talk about their experiences i think of the scene in wedding crashers when will ferrell with his arms around the twins at their mother's funeral states that he is "living the dream, living the dream!"....
