Default Advice help for quick stringing

I cant really pass the 19 minute stringing mark. Can anyone advise what you can do like shortcuts to speed up but still get a quality string job?

Thanks!

If weaving your crosses slows you down try this method.

Here is another video I made a little later

Thank you. This process is a great tool for someone new to stringing or having difficulty with the crosses but I do not use it myself. I think I am just as fast weaving (almost.) I find the string just gets in the way for me sometimes. You are still going to have to weave them in one direction which will give you lots of practice so one day you will not longer need the help of this technique.

There is also a lot of information in the thread I started on this technique. http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=344134

Hmmm....19 min (complete, start to finish) is pretty quick.
Sight unseen, I'd have to think any faster than that would burn grommets and/or M's as you're pull X's over them at the hoop.
Two things I do that saves a lot of time is:
1-always weave X's "one ahead"
2-never let the tail leave the frame on the long side stringing one piece. Instead of letting 20'/25' fall to the floor, and have to "retrieve" it, thread the tail through the next M grommet before tensioning.
Seriously though, 19min isn't bad, depending exactly what your talking about. If you're talking about just tensioning & weaving, you could knock THAT time down to about 10/12min.

Personally...my time is about 30 min from the time I turn my machine on, till the time I take the frame off the rack.
That means:
-locate the customers spread sheet in my "Racquet Customers" file.
-log date-string-frame #(I # frames if someone has multiple frames of the same kind to differentiate), filling out a tag with info, etc....
-cut out strings
-wipe down/clean/inspect frame
-mount/get string from spool or package/string/remove from from the machine/ rubber band the tag to the handle.
-txt the customer to tell them their frame is done.

I think the best way is record you stringing a racquet and post it on youtube and then we can see a better way to do what you are doing.

First you need to know where you are spending time before you can start saving time. Record yourself stringing a few racket then identify all the assumulative time for each operation, such as:

1 - Mounting the racket
2 - Uncoiling the string
3 - Measuring string and starting mains
4 - Weaving mains
5 - finding end of string to start weaving
6 - Tying knots
7 - Weaving crosses
8 - etc...

Find out where you spend the most time and start by trying to lower your time in that area then move on to the next.

Inspecting takes me 15 sec. wont be an issue
Well i use a wise 2086 with alpha axis pro so its solid
the 19 minutes is just mounting weaving stringing it apulling tension and knots and removing it from mounts. cutting strings and measuring at the max take 3 minutes
i dont double pull at all though thats my main concern
i use a 2 piece
Not quite sure how to do a one piece because i was told always do 2 piece for accuracy
