Default Do any pros actually use the radical?

Do they just use the Prestige or what?

Andre uses the Head Liquidmetal Radical. Or at least what the paint job makes it look to be. There were a few pros that were using the Liquidmetal Radical until the new Liquidmetal Prestige came out, or was made available for the pros. I think quite a few made the changeover. I think Jelena Dokic uses the Radical. And I'm sure there's a few more as well. Later

For the time being, Dokic uses a store bought LM Prestige 600, but that will change in time. The number of top ranked men using actual LM Prestiges or LM Radicals that passed through my hands at the Nasdaq was disgusting.

I can't comment on what top ranked players use but my local pro stringer strung retail versions of the iRadical for a player ranked in the 800's.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if you were saying it was disgusting that they were or were not using actual LM rackets.

I think he has used the Ti Radical MP, not the i Radical for the last 3 years or so. If he changed recently, it would probably NOT be to the iRad.

Keep in mind that Head has not yet completely spooled up manufacturing on the LM Prestige -- so much so that they can't even get them into the hands of the players yet.

does anyone else find all this "paint job" crap a tad disturbing?

i mean, i understand using a custom frame...but a lot of these guys are endorsing a company's product when they're not even in the SLIGHTEST bit related to that product they are endorsing.

Yes, they appeared (from Babolat RDC readings) to be i.prestige frames.
