I'm in Boston, and I'd be happy to let you hop on my machine if you need to. I travel for work constantly, but when I'm around, no prob. It's a SP Opus--thing is the nuts. You have my email... And when I get back from the trip I'm on right now I'll get that string out to you.

6 pull speeds, electronic height adjustment, clamps that hold so well that you'll bruise poly of your 1st 6 string jobs learning to trust them

When you do get to Boston you'll probably have the pleasure of dealing with a certain shop in Harvard Square. They'll have your frames back in 4 days, $20 a whack--and when you pay for them, the person in line in front of you will be picking up their ALU mains, VS crosses in their 77 RA frames that the shop recommended.

I sir, did not ever test Iontec black. Only salmon, or earthworm as it is now called.

No, they don't work. No gripper or clamps can hold onto them. They just slip endlessly.

Up until February, I had a 1HBH too! More or less the same here then.
Honestly, this is what I've liked the most thus far this year. http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showp...postcount=1807 |

There is. The original big banger doesn't have anything special about it while ALU does.

bbo is more powerful, while alu power has more control, and loses tension faster, due to the snap back effect wearing off fast as the teflon coating rubs off quickly.

Do not like Silverstring/OGSM. It truly seems as though the spin potential is less than just syn gut and I'm not sure why. The Baseline/OGSM had worlds more spin. It also doesn't have the crisp feeling that I'm looking for. I think I'm going to stick with my prior favorite for the year then (until baseline comes out and I can use that until I leave): Tornado/Xcel FO. I loved that setup. It's not neutral, but it's got the crisp response I'm looking for.

Whats your favorite cost/performance set up so far? Just interested if you thought that one of the lower price point polys played significantly better than you thought it would.
