Alrighty, fever has abated. Just have to let the chest congestion get under control, then it's back to stringing and playtesting! I have never been this sick before, 5 days with a fever, five! Oh well, at least it's gone for the most part. Nothing like having your strength back!

Anyway, what two string setups should I try next? I haven't played for forever, and for some reason my Hexablade and Explosiv! are delayed in England ( ), so I won't have those on hand to add to the list. I guess there's lost of interest in the Mantis strings, so what sort of setup should I use? I'll use a combination of whomever posts first and the number of request for a specific string from my list on the previous page to decide the two setups.

pvaudio, thankgoodness you are feeling better. I have a question. On another thread you said you have LaserFibre SuperNatural Gut Pro. When did you order it? I want to order and try that string too but there are threads about how difficult it is when dealing with the company and that made me think twice.

I paid for a set two weeks ago, and nothing.

^ hopefully you used paypal (you have 60 days to submit a dispute)

Here someone claims he ordered the strings on 1/19 and received on 12/1, basically just a week ago.

I ordered mine in late August, literally I think it was the 29th, and got it about 7-8 days later. I have never had a bad experience with LF.

I did. I crossed Weisscannon Scorpion with it and it's my favorite setup ever.

The guy ordered on 11/19, not 1/19. And yes, make sure to use PayPal so that if all goes badly, then you have recourse. Honestly, just order the strings and email or call them two days later to see if it's shipped. If not, wait another day or two then call again. It most likely has been shipped. Same goes for any other company with bad customer service i.e. Eagnas. Order online, then contact by phone or email to make sure they know that you're serious.

I can't really test the Tonic as I only have a single set of it. Any other gut (aside from VS, that's too expensive) you want to see? Any of the other ones I have in >1 quantity.

pvaudio- can u remember what tension u had on the whisper n scorpian combination, because people say ur crosses should be really around 2pounds lighter than mains 2 create a bigger sweetspot. With the scorpian being put in around 52lbs n whisper peforming (as a natural gut at higher lbs) so around 57+. Would like to know what tension u had urs

Yep. The Scorpion as I said was strung at 56.5lbs, the gut at 58.5lbs.

Alrighty, two frames are empty. One shall be strung with Scorpion/Mantis CS. What should the other one be strung with? I will use the Tornado stick to string with Scorpion/gut to make sure that I at least have two frames which are identical. I heard a call for Klip Legend and Pro Supex Blue Gear?

Come on guys, still need that final setup! If it's Legend and Blue gear, I need to know what configuration it's supposed to be strung in.

Still no string, so I filed a paypal claim, as there was no response, and they have it listed as shipped with tracking number, no string.
