I was there
it's the youtek radical os, or a paintjob at least. Agassi was hitting some wicked flat shots whenever the ball came shorter at him, but Kuerten managed to win, 75 76

some videos I made (turn volume down! you can find better footage online.)

true but that doesn't mean he couldnt acquire them himself, if he wanted them. I'm sure head is reasonable about it if he pays them, and they could have given him a yt paintjob set, of the hairpins of the PT630.

Idk, just a theory.

In this video at 1:15 it is clear that Agassi's rackets doesn't have the white Youtek teflon grommets. Guga's on the other hand does have it (1:08 ). I would think that since Agassi is still doing commercials for Head he's required to use the newest pj (weird that he's missing the logo, though), while Guga is probably just playing with what he wants and thus his Youtek could be the real deal. Of course this is 100 procent guessing.

This is also a valid theory, but at least Guga's grommets appears to be real youtek...unless they started to do grommet pj's as well, hehe.

I think Agassi is using a PJ of his old Radical 260 (hence the black gommets) where as Guga appears to be using a real Youtek. I bet he's got a ton of lead on it though.

It's not a Pro Tour 630 with a radical paint job. Guga is really using the YT Radical MP. Before that he was really using the MicroGel Radical MP.

Well, there you have it. If VS calls it, it's valid. Thanks for the info.

I wish I could play on just leather, that is def not a PT630 mold, and where do you get those shoes?

I second the wish to get these shoes, although I am not a clay player I would like to have them for sentimental reasons

Also lefty I thought it was interesting that he uses only leather in practice and his standard turna over bare handle in the actual game play.

For the gentleman who doubted if it was pt630 mold all you have to do is look at a throat and you can clearly see its not a pt

Black butt cap though? Whats the string pattern? Its not a tgk260.2 because of the white grommets though.

That butt-cap must be from the pro-room (no serial number). Also, the grip shape is certainly custom made for Guga. It is more wilson-ish rather than rectangular...

So Guga went with the leather grip instead of his 3 overgrips only.

In the first picture on the original post, he was still using Tournagrip(s)--not sure how many--on top of the bare pallet. Quite a departure from bare leather.
