Default synthetic grips >>

I remember when they came out & thought finally a replacement for top-end leather grips eg. fairway and even the black dunlop leather grips with dunlop printed all over it (nice & tacky) and absorbed moisture well also. only thing they were kinda 1/2 way there, but now I feel they blow away leather in all
areas. fairway was always the gold standard and now it's a footnote in tennis equipment history.every leather grip made now is a "platform" to add an overgrip and weird is the overgrip concept they only really have a few games in them and then they need to be changed. the syn. grip is THERE! they can't be beat !!

i disagree. they ARE soft and cushy, but provide for less control IMO.
nothing beats a firm leather grip even with an overgrip.

Synths are goood nowadays. I like leather but can't use it w/o overgrip anymore.
