Who is Clayton?

Venus will do "well" one day. I say well but probably top 100 at the most.

Unbelievable first set from Michael Venus, but he had two set points to take it 6-3 and yet gets broken back by Robredo.

Interesting - Andy Murray's brother Jamie is also in Auckland.

I saw him practising today at a club near where I'm staying. Others there today included Nalbandian, Ferrer and Kohlschreiber. All looked pretty relaxed training - so fluid. Kohlschreiber in particular - man he hits a great backhand!

Very interested in Haase and De Bakker. Especially THiemo needs to start delivering. He's not won many matches since the USO.

Thumbs up

lookin forward to a few matches today
@ http://www.livescorehunter.com/Lives...re-Tennis.html

Look for Bellucci to do better this year than before.
Sooooooooooo happy to see Nalby here after he missed it last year!

Hmmmm ... monaco, malisse, clement (runnerup last year), Hasse, Cuevas, Fognini ... tasty menu

plus, the center court looks nice after the renovation

I wouldnt mind seeing Isner take the title again, especially since his serve was sooooo very effective last year and undoubtedly will be again ...... but I'd love to see Nalby put another trophy on his shelf, so I voted for Daveeeeeeed

-----

Clement did very well here last year, and I'm guessing he'll be up for another good performance this week

Near One Tree Hill. They're doing it on the down-low but are happy for people to watch. The top men seem to be there from about midday onwards.

Robredo, Clement and a few others booked at approx midday today I'm told.

This is where Sharapova etc all practised last week so they didn't get hassled by media etc.
