Huh? Those guys are weenie QB's.

The strongest arm belongs to the strongest man: Larry Allen

Ronnie Coleman played for the NFL too, but he wasn't that big in those days.

I saw John Elway "flick" a pass that went 70 yards in the air.

T%om Brady don't get credit for having a strong arm but Ive never seen a ball thrown further than this. Its probably like 75 yards in the air. Not saying he has the strongest arm, but he never gets mentioned in that category becuase he doesnt pull a jay cutler and throw stupid passes.

I believe Jeff George once threw a football 90 yards in the air during an NFL
tryout or combine.

Here's a clip of Kordell Steward throwing it about 74 yards. If he would have
thrown it at a trajectory closer to 45 degrees then it would have gone even
further.

This is the longest throw I've ever seen:

We Jet fans endured Chad Pennington, injury plagued and perhaps the weakest QB arm in recent memory. No pass plays requiring him to throw more than about 20 yards.

Yeah, gotta go with Jeff George. I thought it was rumored he could throw it end zone to end zone in the air. Then again, there's the urban legend about Wade Boggs drinking 50-60 Miller Lites on a cross-country flight (car to airport, flight, then car to hotel).

Former Viking DT Keith Millard once said to a police officer "My Arms are more powerful than your Guns."

I thought good arm means throwing the farthest?

This guy wasnt a QB but Harold Carmichael could throw the ball form one end zone to the other. He was a huge WR in the 70s who had Ron Jaworski throwing to him and Jaworski had a gun but Jaworksi even said his arm was nothing like Carmichaels.

You need to add LeeD poster in that list, no? He would have made NFL if he wanted, and he can throw a ton.

At least he says so........

I think there are a lot of NFL QB's that can throw it in the 60-65 range.
It's probably a little like the 100mph mark for baseball pitchers. As you get
close to it, it gets harder and harder to increase your speed. We've never
seen anyone throw 110, 120 yet. There's some guy that's throwing 103-104
currently, though.

I used to be able to throw it about 50 yards but that was with like a 3-4 step
run up heave at close to 45 degree angle. That was probably when I could
hit my serve the hardest, also. Vick can flick it 50 yards while
running to his right, falling down, and with two linemen draped on him.
