Any ~4.5+ in Austin, TX wanting matchplay?

I'm looking to play new people in competitive matches so that I increase my exposure to different types of games. I have some pretty good hitting partners, but you know how it is... you get used to each other.

I'm trying to get in as much tennis as possible this summer and hoped to find someone on these boards to hit with. One of my biggest problems is playing well when I feel slightly uncomfortable (ie... playing against people I don't know) so I'm hoping to overcome this. I don't actually get a lot of matchplay so I'm really looking for that. I don't need any more rally practice -- I get enough of that.

it's pretty much that time of the year again, so I figured I'd bump this thread on the offchance that someone sees it.

Haha... searched "austin" to see if I could find anyone to hit with from these boards and found an old thread of mine. Anyway... right now I'm just looking for someone to hit with that can hit on weekdays during the day. Seems everyone I know has proper 9-5 jobs and plays in the evenings or weekends.... there's gotta be someone out there in austin that has nothing better to do during the day than hit?!

Well, I can get out at luchtime once in awhile, are you seriously a 4.5 ?

Yup. Seriously a 4.5. If your asking because of the first post... notice that the post is from almost 4 years ago... haha. I'm fine with matches now. Just wanting to hit. Out of school and my usual hitting buddies are either gone or busy during the day. Around what part of Austin are you?
