Life is what happens while Jolly was making plans. He has Mrs. Jolly now, has two jobs, gotta start making retirement plans now, plays with a Prince 110sq. strung with Prince Syn Gut at 55lbs.

He goes to church and is not allowed to patronize Hooter's anymore.

This thread brings back fond memories.

I’m just happy getting out there now and bashing the ball. I’m still serious about tennis but there is no way I can play like I did when I was 20 again. On another note. I’m in an another country from you guys so unless Jollyroger is coming to Calgary this weekend for the $15,000 open we’re having I doubt I’ll be hitting with him. Wish Tony would come as lots of players he played in Vancouver are playing and I could hit with him and get a video of that which I’m sure people will enjoy but he hasn’t really expressed any interest in it.
Hey Devilito sorry, I had planned to come to Calgary this year but a local tournament is pretty strong this year and so I decided to do it. Im planning to come to Calgary next year so it would be fun to meet you and hit some if you can.

Calgary hit meet?! I'd love to join in on this! No one on this forum lives near my area so I think it'd be fun... if anyone's interested!

As for Jolly, is it wrong I want to play against his serves? This almost makes me want to go to NYC again, and do a very intertwined social network to hit with some people from here.

Oh btw, Jolly. On your videos I was semi disappointed your face wasn't actually a jolly roger.

that would be awesome man. Draw this year is pretty stacked. Nobody above a 500 ATP ranking but all solid players. No easy rounds

Seeing this again- I am quite certain that's John Malkovich practicing tennis for his new upcoming movie.

since Jolly has taken a hiatus from posting, i'll fill you guys in with the details of my mere mortal existence.
went to the GBBQOAT this past sunday courtesy of W, and shared in this feast with dennis, ali, the immortal V, and the one who is jolly, and may i say went ate splendidly.
i took some of the delicious leftover baked ziti, swedish meatballs, egg rolls home and put them in my refrigerator sunday night.
monday i went to the ike to see the 4.5 teams match and hit with dennis a little bit, then went to jerichowestbury to watch V's match, so i grabbed some burger king while waiting for the match to start and then got home too late to eat dinner.
when i went down to the kitchen this morning, my dad complimented me on how good the leftovers in the applebee's containers were.
i opened the fridge.
they were gone.
my dad said that he, my mom, and sister ate them last night for dinner.
i died a little on the inside.

While I found Pickle's post absolutely riveting, I subscribed to this thread in hopes of tracking the journey of LI's J-Rog, Tennis Pirate Extraordinaire. Come on J-Man, throw us a bone! What about that update on mixed doubles you promised??? BHBH

Pickles, I'm sorry for your lost.

I ate half of mine late last nite after the matches. The rest will go into my belly soon.

Jolly did attend the BBQ but ate little, Mrs. Jolly commented that Jolly has been getting fat and that they can't afford to keep on buy larger clothes for him. Jolly had a 32" waist before UDC, and now he has balloned up to 54". He still has a long ways to match my prodigious girth, for yours truly broke a chair at W's on sunday.

Jolly rarely plays tennis, last weekend he went doily shopping with Mrs. Jolly. It is all very sad to think that generations of young TW posters do not know the living legend, Jolly the Pirate.

I am speechless, overcome by grief! BHBH

JoelDali posted a screen shot of his phone screen and Jolly mentioned his mixed dubs results there.
