Default AO 2011: Verdasco vs Tipsarevic (Round 2)

VS

09 - 49

Head to Head
Tipsarevic leads 2-1 in matches every time they have met it has been on hard court, 5-2 in sets, 1-0 in best of 5 set matches.

Verdasco won their last meating in 09 in 2 sets on Hard Court 6-3, 6-3 however this was infront of a Spanish crowd

Verdasco is a formar semifinalist at the AO however last time the two met at the AO in 2008 Tipsarevic won in straight sets.

This will be the match I most look forward to from the bottom half second rounds

Very interesting match as Tipsa leads H2H and already beat him @AO, of course, rooting for him.

This is going to be an interesting one. I really enjoyed watching Tipsarevic at the US Open. Will Verdasco keep his head together?

Is there anyone on the tour that Verdasco has a winning record against??

This really shouldn't be an interesting match. But knowing Verdasco's fragile mental state, it'll probably go down to the wire with Dasco double-faulting the match away.

What's with all these big name players playing each other so early (like 1st-2nd rounds)? I don't get why they don't spread them around a bit more to make it more exciting (let alone fair for the players).

I really think so. That and inside his head.

That said, the Professor shocked me when he upset A-Rod at the USO.

You upset your fans with that abysmal performance in Nice, Fer - you know, the one that precipitated the recent downhill slide? Please redeem yourself.

Tipsarevic will win if he keeps this up. Verdasco simply cant match this level of tennis.
