Thanks for the suggestion. I typically used Superfeet Orange but may give these a try. The Orange are very supportive but not much cushion and not cheap.

The stringer commented how Babolat seems to have realized their slightly larger european size was confusing people in this market, I couldn't agree more.

Side note: The plastic molding they shaved off the forefoot is definitely welcome, feels very nike breathe II-esque however it does seem that the mesh will give/stretch out a bit over time more than the previous versions.
A bit confused by the bolded part. How does the 3 fit smaller and more true to size when the 2 already fit smaller than most shoes? Are you just talking about width maybe or toebox width?

Ahh, gotcha...thanks...good to know.

I wish I'd seen this thread before my first order. Have had them boxed up for days for return but didn't actually get to the post office till today to return the first pair so won't have them for the first 2 matches of the spring USTA season this week. First match is on Har-Tru clay...not the best for worn out shoes. May have to dig deep in the closet for some older Prince's that I never cared much for that may have some tread left.

Like I previously mentioned, I bought 1/2 size bigger and have been using them for 2 weeks now.

Since most of the time I play during night times, the length fits well, not too much space left. The only thing that bothers me is the size of the toe box, very spacious for me. As for the width, I think it's a tad wider than barricade 5.

No break-in required.

Low arch support.

Overall, I still prefer barricade 5 because it gives me a lot of support. These shoes are a bit soft.

Just sent in a pair of 2's - and sadly - they sent me the 3's. Ugh.... terrible color/look.

I saw the boards here about "how long it takes" on warranty replacement. I sent last Monday at 11am, and the new pair were on my front porch the following Monday at 11am.

8 days, including shipping.

So now I'm trying to find somewhere to swap for a pair of Black 2's for these Disco Modules..... Babolat should include a heavy gold chain with the purchase of the red ones.....They'd go perfect together......

By the way; I get 2 to 2 1/2 months from Babolat soles before they're completely gone through into the inside. I 'll get 5 months from a Prince T22.

^^ how do the T22 compare as far as stability, traction, comfort? I really like the grip of the PP2, and the heel support is unlike any other shoe to date for me.

Hi guys, im new here.
I bought the babolat propulse 3, the red one and it says it has a 6 month guaranteed(correct me if i am wrong) Does this mean that if the show is worn out before 6 months i can send them pictures of it and they will send me a new pair? This is my first time buying from tennis warehouse so i am not too sure. Thanks!XD

No, you fill out the warranty card that should have come with the shoes, and send the shoes to Babolat. In about a week or so, you'll receive another pair.

Okay, Lets just say i misplace my warranty card? Is there any other way i could replace my shoe? So it is safe to say that if i worn out my shoe before 6 months i am entitled to a new pair?

Can download the warranty card here:

(if TW linked these cards, I wouldn't be posting this competitor...)

Might as well grab the PP2 blacks on sale? Same outsole, just different upper.

The propulse 4 is coming in 2013. Because the propulse 2 was from 2009-2011. Correcte me if I'm wrong.

Hey Guys,

Bought a pair of pp3's recently and wondered whether when it comes to the 6 month outsole warranty Babolat would replace the shoes with another pair or would give me a refund. Plus, when I bought them I didn't get a warranty card and wondered if you have to have one to replace them (Im in the the UK)

Would like to hear more about people's luck with using aftermarket insoles to add some arch support.

I'm surprised not many people are talking about the lack of arch support.. My feet are relatively flat and I'd love to feel more support in these shoes. In the thread above, someone mentioned Spenco insoles, and somebody mentioned Superfeet.. I've never used aftermarket insoles, and would like to hear more about adding arch support. I recall when I was younger, I added a pair of "arch support" wedges under the stock insole. They're just little guys that slip right into the arch area under the stock insole.. Do they still make such a thing?

I use the PP2 and if they haven't changed the arch support on the pp3 then it's still pretty low. I use superfeet blue since I have low-med arches and I do overpronate on my left foot. They help out A LOT.
