Venus is 5'11
During an interview with Serena and Venus, someone asked Serena how tall she was and she replied, " I'm about 5'9 and Venus is about 5'11". I guess Venus is another Charles Barkley and likes to boost up her listed height.

no it was serena that made the comment and im pretty sure she said "im about 5'8" and venus is about 5'10" , which surpried me cause i always thousht it was a 5'11"/6'1" ratio.i have it on recording, it came on right after a fr. open match, it was on a ducumentary type thing on the sisters. when was this interview you speak of taken?
notice she said "about" i dont think she took a measuring tape to herself during the interview... |

I don't know about Venus, but Davenport is 6'2 1/2'' (1.89 m)...

I dunno. I always just figured she was "pretty tall." Anything around 6-foot seems reasonable to me.

yeah i know, maybe they just listed it wrong, otherwisewhy would she openly say she was 5'11" during a televised interview.

The Venus and Sharapova shot isn't really a good representation of the height difference since Sharapova is in the foreground and Venus is in the background making Sharapova seem a lot taller than Venus.

That first pic is funny! Venus looks so happy but Davenport looks like she's going to die in an hour. Judging from the pictures, it looks like she probably added one inch to her listed height. I'd say she's probably 5-11 and a half to 6'0.

True, but not that much taller. And for the other pics we see they're both just about one inch under Lindsay.
