Carpet Shoe advice needed

Hi all,

I have been playing more and more on carpet this winter and I wonder if there is a big difference between indoor shoes and outdoor (artificial grass) shoes.

Currentle I wear my outdoor grass shoes on carpet also. Shoes I have are K-Swiss, 3 yrs old, with very small rubber pin profile). Grip is perfect, but I think the shoes are a bit heavy for indoors.

Another problem is that I am very tall (2m6/6ft

and thus kind of heavy (100kg). Shoes must have good dampening for my knees.

Is the difference between indoor shoes and outdoor shoes that big? Which shoe can you advice me?

Looking for a shoe that suits artificial grass, basically carpet filled with sand, sometimes known as "omnicourt".
Unfortunately, in TW shoe finder information regarding shoe suitability for different surfaces is absent.
Are all these shoes designed for north american hard surfaces?

I use Barricade 2's indoors, which are basically hard court shoes.
However...Feathers can work too, and Nike CB 2.3 work as well.
Pretty much anything grips well enough for me on carpet...so any hard cort shoes will do.

I would always recommend ASICs shoes for comfort and performance. Their version of a shoe perfect for indoor carpet is available on TW-Europes site. The smooth sole allows for sliding on some carpeted surfaces and is the only way to go if you play on clay.

I think I might give the Asics a chance. Comfort is very important as well, as I did have some knee issues in the past. Can use them for gravel as well, while I keep my K-Swiss shoes for grass only
