Johnny S&V posted a vid before I want to think. If I remember he was rocking a nice serve on an indoor court, but I could be wrong. I booze sometimes on the weekends.

Well, that's the double edged sword of video posting. You're going to get criticised, whether you like it or not. Just like when you went off about J011y not swinging the human racquet when he wasn't looking for any advice whatsoever.

Love the serve, GraniteChief.

Wow, can two 3.5's have WORSE serves? Tall guy needs to tighten up and control his length.
Short guy can play defensive baselining pretty well, but has a 3.0 or worse serve....and is shellshocked by TallGuys height and power.

The tall guy has a nice serve---- way better than 3.5. I'm guessing this guy is a high 4.0, or a 4.5. Or, maybe he doesn't have a rating and actually plays for fun. Frightening thought, I know.

Yes, as is, tall guy has a strong 4.0 serve, but super inconsistent and prone to complete trainwreck breakdowns because his length causes inconsistency and he never reigns in his length, like Isner, Karlovic, Querry, Ivanisivic. Tall guy also hits some returns so far out of reality it keeps him playing 3.5.
Short guy needs a womans 4.0 serve, and will improve his ratings. Currently, he serves like a 3.5 woman, or 3/4 level lower man. Other than shellshocked, he's a solid 3.5.

A google search indicates that GRANITECHIEF is a 5.0.

I think there should be some sort of TT filter that automatically deletes every LeeD post containing two digits separated by a decimal point.

Seconded. Give it up Lee, rating just isn't your thing. Or perhaps take your meds and try again tomorrow?

Are you saying tall guy or short guy actually IS a 5.0?
BE SERIOUS. A 5.0 is a singles player in Div11 or 111. As such, both those guys would barely get a breadstick to any real 5.0.
You guys are nuts! By your ratings, that thread on "my bud says he's 4.5" guy is much better than 5.0, as that guy would smoke these two hacks.

Chico, YOU might think short guys serve is spot on technique, but then you might think your 65 mph first serve is really fast.
Tall guy can serve big time, for sure. But his length requires him at his level to reign in on the length of motion. He misses by a mile due to inconsistency thru his long, extended motion. As he gets better, he can lengthen his motion to where he is now, but most big guys still used stunted motions to give them control....power they have due to long leverage.
Pretty easy to tell their skill levels. Look how far they miss by.

tall and shorter guy looks good. I "might" look better technically in a match but these guys will probably beat me.

Thirded, somebody is trippin. HAHA, i knew this would be a kick.

The thing that i found interesting in making this video, and other matches, is that you can get a set to fit in a 6.5 min. time frame or a match into a 10 min frame (as in the case of Kauai Tennis, which can be found on youtube under my username and is against a D1 guy.)

Also, anybody is welcome to do some stats on the set.
Can i get an estimate on the ace serve speed on the set/last point? Thx!
