Stringing Reccomendations

I have always just trusted the stringer where I play when it comes to which string to use and don't know athing about them. He usually used something like Prince synthetic gut or topspin and they were fine.

But...I am about to order 2 new racquets and am looking for suggestions as to string type. Right now I would say I am hovering around 3.5 if that helps.
