My thoughts.....you pulled the hemp fibers out of yout Bastcore racquet and smoked them, causing you to post this in the racquets section rather than where it belongs.

Well, motion looks pretty good to me. If anything, to me it looks like you drop your tossing arm a little too early and lose some shoulder rotation and diagonal positioning. But that could just be a result of the pictures

yeah interesting point, I will have a look at that. I also think that foto 5 shows me on the edge of my jump and my arm falls for leverage. I will try and dig out another foto that may show my motion between pics 4 and 5.

Looks solid to me in all areas.
Kinda the new DJ thing with the extended racketarm on backswing, then pulling it in close to bent elbow.
Forward movement.
High elbow finish.
Good extension.
How good is your serve?

I notice your racquet face is slightly open when you arrive at the trophy position (of course, as you know, this isn't a conscious position when you have a smooth continuous motion like yourself). Not exactly the devil, but something simple that you could address.

yeah I think it was Navratilova i looked at when i was young, the Wawrinka serve is closest now in a kind of "W" motion, my racket arm is slightly delayed now tho.

How good is my serve, its pretty good sir, at 6ft4 and 175lbs I get my fair share of free points

probably because my grip is open (pic1) and im generating a lot of spin. I remember the serve when the fotos were took, it moved from right to left and landed a few inches from the T in the deuce box.

Also if i look at that pic the racket face seems parallel with the service line so its pretty on the money. I did notice it myself tho when my coach took the fotos.......

If you're 6'4 then half the battle is already won.

Sorry, I didn't mean to derail your thread. I will not post anymore regarding that.

You seem to have good form. What kind of thoughts were you looking for? Is there a specific aspect of your serve you want to fix/improve?
