Default Jail breaking your iphone

Thinking about jail breaking my iphone, anyone here do that? There's some things I'd like to do: create folders for (more than 12) apps, change my user interface, have more control over the settings, etc.

In my research thus far, the only disadvantage I've found was that your phone is no longer covered under apple's warranty. Anything I'm missing? As far as I have seen, you can still access apple's app store, correct?

What other cool apps and good things have you done?

Which iPhone do you have? All models with the exception of the current iPhone 4 are relatively easy to hack.

Your warranty will be voided and any time that there is an OS update your jailbreak will be undone. You still have access to the Apple app store but you also get all the other apps for phones that have been jailbroken.

Interesting... If something were to happen to my iphone, but I was able to load the old OS on it, and thus undo the jail break, do you know if apple would still honor the warranty? Or is there still evidence of jail breaking?

Typical warranty length is one year, so that may be a moot point by now anyway.

you can buy an extended warranty for extra $$$. This is what I did. I think it covers 2 years.
