This isn't another Stanford thread.

I wonder if Mississippi State can sneak into the top 16 because nobody wants to see them land in their section in the NCAA's. (Probably Georgia or soemthing because they just love those conference matchups in the tournament which I hate)

The 7 teams that I see above Stanford right now in my opinion deserve to be higher than Stanford. one can argue that some of the teams right below them maybe deserve to be higher even, but thats debatable.

I was just commenting on a team....

The thing that makes it a Stanford thread is you responding like you did.

I'm strapping myself in to see how far down Dancer can take us.

Illinois' ranking since March 1st: 4-6-9-10-13-15-17

Sad.

Tough 4-3 loss.

The doubles was split and came down to Third Dubs, and a VERY controversial call prevented it from going to 7-7, and then ya never know. Of course, they had their chances elsewhere, and it was still a good match.

impressive performance by your guys, they really showed off some depth...maybe they're better than i think

however, i would disagree a bit with "they had their chances elsewhere"...seems like the only close singles match went to UGA (#3)...only 4 sets closer than 6-3 (and no breakers) in the other five matches, all straight-setters

looks like if they were going to win it had to be w/ #3 dubs

Maybe so. 1 singles were on serve the whole first set pretty much, and a late break cost Wil. And if I'm not mistak Javi at 2 was up a break in the first and wound up losing it. Still. I think they can hang with most every team out there, whether they wind up with the win is another story, but I hope the best for 'em.

They have been in the top 50 the last couple of years anyway.

Idaho is damn good too go look at their record they have beaten Boise, Hawaii, and some other very good teams. Just because they are not houshold names they can still play.

I have both of these teams beating Clemson at the moment.
I am going to take you with me to Las Vegas. Good picking!

UNC-W beat UVA for the conference championship.

Do you have any more picks?

I think you meant VCU, not UVa.

He didn't actually pick them to win anything. I still think they would lose to Clemson.

Also he was off on Idaho.
