Default Djokolate's Lux Savage review (part of my string-finding mission)

I really like this string, to be honest. With some people saying it's stiff and all, I had my doubts. But I was quite surprised after reading some bad experiences from the internet. I played with it yesterday in my team matches, I used it in the singles but stuck with my normal setup in the doubles. I won straight sets in singles, but had bad luck in the champions tiebreak (or whatever you call it) in the doubles. This is my short review of Lux Savage.

Luxilon Savage!

I was really impressed with this. I tried it in a full bed at 54lbs and, well, saying for the 100th time, I WAS IMPRESSED :P ...lol.

Things that stood out for me was the feel and pop, also that it wasn't really soft, or really stiff, either. I wasn't really feeling spin, though, and I was quite disappointed with that. Nevertheless, this was a good string and I would reccommend it to anyone who is thinking of getting it.

Nope. Black
Not sure what to compare it too, though.

Just out of curiosity, you're only 14 right?

Anyway, if you liked lux savage, then you might want to try WC Scorpion. It has a soft feel and give lots of spin for about 5 hours, which is going to be longer than that savage is going to last in my own experiences. I will say that I'm not surprised you didn't *feel* the spin, but I thought it was very spin friendly and softer than most luxilon. It doesn't, you're right, feel like you are hitting spin, but somehow you do (If that makes any sense) Anyway, it wasn't the string for me and was too expensive for it's short life. Definitely try out some scorpion, or, if you want LOADS of spin, I'd suggest maybe Black5Edge or bhbr, which both felt very spin friendly to me without being too harsh on the arm.

It dropped tension way to quickly and I now have no control or anything. It really isn't worth the cash in my opinion because there are strings that play close LSL but hold tension much better. I have another racquet but with PLII in it that plays much more solid, better pop, better spin, and more control than Savage Lime.

*Both strings at 53lbs with Gosen OG Micro 17 in the crosses at 53lbs as well in a Prince EXO3 Rebel.
