I hope he gets better. He's one of the people who helped make tennis the great sport it is today and by all accounts a terrific person.

I'll say a prayer for him tonight GPT. Get well soon Mr. Rosewall, you're one of the all time tennis greats.

My original "favorite" player back in the 70s when I began playing, and a fine man by all accounts. I also pray for a speedy recovery.
It appears he suffered no heart or brain damage. He's always been the epitome of youth, and I hope this pulls him through.

Yes, admired by everyone for his competitiveness, fairness, and generosity.

A speedy recovery 'Muscles.'

I believe it's not serious.

The Italian tennis federation says Australian tennis great Ken Rosewall has been admitted to the stroke ward of a Rome hospital after falling ill while attending the Rome Masters.

The tennis federation said early Monday that Rosewall was admitted to the San Camillo hospital.

Rosewall’s wife, Wilma, was quoted by Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald on Monday as saying the 76-year-old former tennis star suffered no heart or brain damage, but was being kept under observation until he was well enough to return to Australia.

The eight-time Grand Slam winner Rosewall was attending the tournament to receive a golden racket, an award presented annually to former tennis greats. Rosewall won 132 singles titles in his career, including four Australian Opens, two French Opens and two U.S. Opens.
I hear he's allergic to Novak

First Laver, now Rosewall -- what is it with Australian tennis players of the 1960s and strokes? Cliff Drysdale and John Newcomb better get themselves checked out.

Get well soon.

Would you believe I first learnt tennis from a tattered, old, dog-eared book by Ken Rosewall?! The book I got had no covers and we just tried to follow his advice/instruction, LOL!
