i wonder if they need to retest because that's an extremely low power rating - 71.

i've only hit wit the ig speed 18x20 but that's got very good power. i find it hard to believe the 16x19 has less power.

Anyone notice how the specs of the IG Speed 16x19 are almost identical to the Microgel Radical Pro?

Anyone play with both?

I went with the IG Speed MP315 16x19 after demoing at least one version from most of the current Head series including the Radical Pro. Racquet technology has come a LONG way in the 13 years since my last one and only coming back to the game recently I don't profess to have any great knowledge beyond I know what feels right when I hit with it.

I can see the MP316 16x19 definitely isn't for everyone, but I liked the balance and feel of the frame and the slightly greater weight than most others. Coming from a 1" oversized racquet the extra length didn't bother me. The control is great and coming from decades of squash my biggest problem returning to tennis is skying balls or belting them into the net. Power has never been a problem for me when I need it so unlike some of the playtesters I don't seem to have problems getting good depth.

Compared to the Radical Pro it felt a lot more maneuverable at the net and the frame just felt cleaner and more solid on groundstrokes. Not much in it but noticeable for whatever reason.

And I liked the extra weight and length compared to the Speed 300 but it doesn't require as much effort as the heavier Speed Pro.

Big T out of the two the Rad Pro imo played better though added some lead. I had customized my 315 with lead at 2/10 and under the grip. I was getting pushed around as the racquet wasn't stable enough in the hoop again imo. In the end I ended up with the Prestige Pro.

Pretty lukewarm on the reviews. I was surprised that it only weighs 11.6 strung - that thing is probably a monster with some lead tape.

I demoed the MRP and liked it, but the string pattern was too open in the upper half. The Speed looks like it's a little more dense.
