I already know that Roddick and Nadal use specially painted racquet's. I know that there are others out there, I was just wondering who? Or is it only a "Top Player" thing?

I have only seen one ATP pro playing a retail Head racquet in person.
Of course I assumed it was a retail MG Prestige MP because it had a retail buttcap. The buttcap could have been replaced it could still have been prostock. I would be nearly certain that all Head pros are playing prostock frames, either PT's or TGK's..... The other brands are more of a mystery to me so I can't comment.

Even some juniors and college players use paintjobs. The manufacturers make paintjobs widely available to players that they sponsor at all levels.

Jankovic's Prince is not a Black, Bryan's Rebels are not what it seems, Verdasco's Biomimetic is actually his old Major...the thing has been discussed "ad libitum"...

Del Potros pj stands out IMO.
What a discontinued line of Wilson rackets paint is doing in the hands of this great player and talent i cant understand.. he should at least be wielding a BLX paint job, no? |

Only people I can think of at the moment are Isner, Federer and Tsonga. Maybe Ferrer and Soderling too but I'm not sure.

When he was playing Rafa in the 1st round of RG he was using a Prince O3 Black when he endorses the EXO3 Black.

The majority of pros on tour use retail racquets. Only the top few you see on TV all the time use paint jobs and pro stocks etc. Most players at Challengers or Futures use retail racquets they get for free from their sponsors. Heck, a huge chunk of these players don’t even customize them to the extent people do on this forum. Some guys I’ve talked to playing some lower level ATP events haven’t even heard of pro-stock and paint jobs etc. They were like, "WTF are you serious?"

^^Nearly every racquet I strung at the Delray ATP International this year was a paintjob.

I’m talking about players from like a 300 rank to 1500 which comprise the majority of players. So i don't see what Del Ray has to do with anything as it's only a small elite pool of players that even play ATP250 and higher events.

One more thing, many college and even juniors have paintjob frames or "special layups". I would know being that I string for many of them.
