I'm not shocked about the sneaker head thing (there are a lot of nice tennis shoes out there), it's just i wasn't expecting jordans

Well, u cant really collect tennis shoes because they go down in value each year. Jordans on the other hand wont go dwon in value

Does Raga use the thickest midsoles out of all the players. I would have thought that thinner midsoles would help more with getting more feedback from the ground when moving, and so be better for balance, agility and more efficient movement.

If you get good retros their worth something... Such as the AJ 11s, their is a retro release every year, but they are some awesome and one of the most popular models of jordans so they are sold out in hours- you can also resell them on bay for 3 to 4 times retail price

Last sneaker post, but collecting isn't about "value". Well, for me it isn't, anyway. To me it's about collecting he sneakers that you like, regardless of how little or much they're worth. If someone loves the Barricades, then they should get as many pairs of those as they please. Sure, some AJ's (like the XI Concords or Space Jams) might be worth a lot if you resold them, but if you don't like XI's, there's no point in getting them. Just my 2cents.

That's cool. And I wasn't directing my comments towards you... just a general statement. In my opinion, guys who buy sneakers solely based on their value or what they're worth aren't "collectors"... they're resellers.
