Default Wilson - What's after BLX?

Will Wilson release a new product line in January? Possibly for the SixOne series? If so someone should have seen some pictures because I remember placing an order for the BLX where I worked about half a year in advance.

Here's betting they introduce their latest technology for maximum feel and playability:

"Graphite Kevlar"

Haha good one! I bet the newest cool kid technology will be something like magnesium cobalt infused with graphite to give a whole new feel (dampened)

The newest line, and I have heard this from a reputable source, will mix Carbon, Radium, and Phosphorus. Radium and Phosphorus are little known elements for use in sporting equipment, but the Radium provides power due to its high weight, while the Phosphorus provides unbelievable stiffness yet dampening.
Right now, the issue of course, is the name. The current leader is simply CRaP
- Carbon (C)
- Radium (Ra)
- Phosphorus (P)

The next PJ of the 90 line may well be the last of the bloodline unless there is another popular pro using a 90 frame.

That'll be a sad day, if it's true. Although, once Federer is gone from the Tour, he might play the exhibition circuit. Wilson may still make a racquet just for him, like they've done with Sampras. Here's hoping they do, since I'd hate to have to try to find a new style of racquet one day.

These threads make me sad. Do people feel so badly about their games that they're already wondering what nonsignificant change a company will make in racquets next year??

Focus your energy elsewhere. Yes I am curious about how they will look and if there is any change in the specs. I find it more sad that you feel bad for people having a genuine interest.

+1

January 2012 should be the Six.One family update, they will have to get one in ASAP before Fed loses his marketability. No news about the proposed upgrade, doubt if there will be any dramatic changes - I am just a sucker for a new line of racquets.

Curiousity is forgivable, but capitulating to corporate greed isn't. Racquet manufacturers can pump out new frames as often as they do because of the same desire for novelty that generates threads like this. Those people who have to possess the newest iteration of the same frame are a bane to the level headed folks out there who find something that works and stick with it, only to have their racquet stripped from the market. Small wonder, then, that people get testy when threads like this rear their ugly heads.

If you guys really want to try something new, I recommend you demo a stick from another brand. Unless, of course, you've already tried every frame on the market. I sincerely doubt that's the case...
