Definitely check out the U of Minn Baseline Center. Was there last summer for a 3-day conference, and wanted to get some hitting in. Emailed Dana Young (one of their teaching pros), and she was able to get me both a hitting partner, and a couple of hours of hitting with her.

That's been my experience- highly recommended.

Dana was not free- but nevertheless reasonable. Again, sorry, can't remember. Just email her- she's very nice!

Baseline is a great facility. Also check out the fred wells tennis center. It's very inexpensive, and It's close by fort snelling too... Pretty cool place.

Yep: Golden Valley Golf and Country Club there's also a club with clay in Edina They are both Private clubs but it's worth a call to see.

Depending on where you'll be staying an your access to travelling the city, you could check out some of the other public clubs too: Read Sweatt or Public Indoor
