Default BLX Blade 98 string tension

Hello,

I have just recently bought this racquet and I was wondering what other blade users have their string tension at. Previously I've played with a Yonex RDIS 100 MP, which I had at 26.5 kilos (a little over 58 lbs). So what do you guys prefer?

Ok. Is "Big Banger" or what's it called now again any good? From what I understand most pros us it, but maybe it's not so important what model it is.

My gf just got this racket and I string hers with full OGSM 17 @ 64. She loves it.

It's a bit higher than the recommended range, but I just started doing my own stringing and saw a thread about how OGSM looses about 8lbs of tension quickly and then settles. After testing it, it's spot on- so it ends up being 56lbs after an hour or two of hitting.

Lexicon M2 Pro & Alu Power @ 54/52 is my favourite setup. Recently V Pro 18 @ 56/54 has played extremely solidly. Going to put timo in soon

I would try a softer co-poly at a lower tension as a starting point. I was using these rackets full time for a few months and I settled on Luxilon Alu Rough at 50lbs pre stretched. If you hit flatter try it a little higher in tension around 53. They are great rackets I hope your enjoying them.
