I don't mind the slam dunk, but nice forehand.

He's quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite players! He's getting so much better, more consistent, more serious about his work on court...it's so good to see from such a talented and obviously athletic guy. Apparently he's a nice guy off court, too.
Vamos Monfils!!!! |

Hah. Missed the best ones, where he pretended the point was over and did this 'ole' underhanded crap(two different points) and the totally pointless between the legs half-volley at 5-1 in the tiebreak.

I loved the aggressiveness he showed. He was playing smart, strategic, attacking tennis for the most part, and not just pushing, defensive style he falls into way too much.
Yeah, he's having a great hard court season since the split. It's interesting that he's playing better without really having a full time coach at the moment. |

I saw him live earlier this month in DC, loads of fun to watch in person and really nice that he's getting more aggressive with his shots.
He's got power to spare when he chooses to use it plus he runs every ball down on defense: great combo.

Even though he does some ridiculous things that are probably detrimental to his game, it's entertaining. I think tennis needs that.

That is true. I just like him for his pure entertainment value. If he put it all together and got really serious, he would be amazing. His brain just ain't always there.
