All you Canadians....Sale/Trade Club?

Hi fellow Canadians,

I'm wondering if we can start a sale/trade club amongst ourselves. As I'm sure you know it can be a pain to purchase from the US with customs/duties and long shipping times. That being said I have purchased at least 14-15 racquets over the years from the US. It just seems that it's easier to purchase a used racquet rather than demo as I cannot find many racquets in my city.

However, there are many of us here so we should be able get a little network going. Who's in?

After 4 years of constantly switching racquets I think I've finally settled. Great idea though. I still have some to sell off - I'm in.

For those of you who are around St. Catherines, Hamilton, Toronto, or the Minden cottage area, I come up from Pennsylvania every May and July. My father is retired and goes up even more often. Since it sounds like the shipping is an issue, if you were to purchase something from the US on the boards in May or early July, had it shipped to me and wanted to meet somewhere, I'd be glad to deliver on the way up or somewhere around Miner's Bay Ontario. We could even get a set in at the lodge.

Any luck with getting the new Canadian sale/trade area? Maybe we should just post a note with our collections.

Does anybody know the best/cheapest method of shipping across Canada?

I think we need to have more canadian users showing interest in this thread...in the meantime we could use this thread but it could become several pages long and a nightmare to keep track of what is still available.

I hope the admin of this forum will go ahead with richie65's idea.

I'm in Toronto and you can count me in. In fact, I have a TW-issue Donnay Pro One International MP in 1/2 grip, 9/10 condition and strung with Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16 I'd like to sell. $85 including shipping within Canada, or $70 delivered in the GTA.
