Noticed several changes to team's rosters in the last few days (some relevant names/some not) - some have already been mentioned on the board:

Dropped from Roster:

Wyatt Lippert - Ohio State
Nick Jones - South Carolina
Andrew Scholnick - Cal
Mark Schanerman - Miami

Added to Roster:
Carlos Bautista - Tulsa
Lucas Vaz - Tulsa
Alex Sarkissian - Pepperdine
Bartosz Sawicki - Tennessee
Sebastian Yllera - Tennessee
Rafael Ribas - Virginia Tech
Nick Wood - Georgia
Henry Craig - Denver

If you know of more go ahead and list them.

I must have looked at it wrong. He was just playing last month so I thought it was strange. My bad.

Game changer. Looks like Memphis added Lukas Vrnak. He's not listed on their roster but I believe he's playing. Hope I have his name right. Check the Alabama v Memphis match. They are playing now.

Vrnak appears to be playing at 4. Playing singles first and the teams have split 1st sets. Wouldn't really be an upset if Memphis takes it but would be a nice road win

As information. The contest counts as individual matches only, not dual results.

Default New Roster Changes

Wow. Does anyone know why Spencer Newman is no longer at Michigan and why Skolnick is no longer at Cal?

Does anyone know where they are going?

Baylor just added a pair: Tony Lupieri and Patrick Pradella. Both will be juniors this year and have had ATP rankings in the 800 range. Lupieri looks like he'll make an immediate impact this year.

Newman is the most significant loss out of those. Drops Michigan down a notch in contender status . Nick Jones is also a big loss for the Gamecocks.

Vanderbilt added Marc Van Der Merwe to their roster. He was top 500 ITF Junior from South Africa that should be able to give them some more depth.

I heard the same thing over the weekend.

I wonder if he will have to sit out the spring since he just transferred and played matches for U of M that past fall.

I think that's the plan. The Gators must be thrilled to have him back.

He should have never left. Shelton is a great coach and he will turn that program back around in 3 years or less.

Just curious if you know why Proisy isn't on the roster anymore?

Texas Tech added 4 to their roster yesterday:

Felipe Soares, Gabriel Dias, and Hugo Dojas all from Brazil and Vladimir Tontic from Serbia. Both Dias and Dojas had a high ITF Jr Rankings in the top 60

Define "turn it around"

For them to be outside of the top 10 is totally unacceptable to the AD, I can guarantee that. I know a top 12 ranking is acceptable at some schools but it doesn't cut it at UF.

Straight from their website. "The University of Florida is the only program in the nation to finish among the nation’s top 10 in each of the last 29 national all-sports standings."

When you have an athletic budget like they have and are in a state that is known for tennis, you are expected to produce.

I think they will be back in the top 8 in the next 3 years and top 5 in the next 5 years.

Not to stray too far off topic, but what about women's basketball at UF? They are never a top 10 and rarely a top 25 team. Should they just roll through coaching staffs endlessly?

Anyways, I think the expectation Foley has of Brian is to be "in the hunt for a national championship every year". Hearing Foley say that struck me as odd since Andy was fired a year off of winning the SEC. I think more went into that dismissal than just results.
