Anyone going this year?
I've booked the day off on the Tuesday and bought tickets for the day and night sessions. I think they have sold a lot more tickets than last year, looking at those left available at this point. Last year they were practically giving them away in the week before (front row upper tier tickets to Federer - Murray, admittedly not much of a match, were available for GBP8 each, and included an award acceptance by Nadal at the end). Obviously it's impossible currently to know what sessions the big clashes will be scheduled for during the round robin stages. I'm going to try to keep my evenings open the rest of that week and either (i) buy tickets, if still available, once the schedule is published the night before, (ii) buy tickets for every night session if they end up being heavily discounted the week before like last year. Anyway, this thread could be useful for any schedule details, questions about seating and last minute ticket promos! |

Yeah - was lucky in my club ballot and got tickets to the men's QFs (Fed v Tsonga / Muzza v Lopez) this year.
Great to have the two tournaments in London atm - complete opposites of the tennis spectrum and both great spectacles. Wimby for a chilled out long day floating about the complex lubricated on overpriced grog, and the WTF for the energetic, theatrical stage that can fit in with the rest of your day. |
