Raonic - Cilic 1st R Valencia
Draw http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/573/mds.pdf For a match with Dolgopolov/Grannolers, in Monfils' quarter. Cilic is a bit higher than Raonic, but he's still not able to have a breakthrough, being very much up and down. He would dearly like to beat this newcomer challenging his own place on the rungs. LATEST: Cilic's in the final of St. Petersburg, after beating Youzhny, thus in great shape. Raonic is coming back strongly after surgery, with a SF in his last time out, barely losing to Monfils and having been 1 break up in both sets on Ferrer. Both have some issues with the movement. I'm going to predict the better returner on the 2nd serve will take it. Who's gonna take it?

Isn't this a potential 2nd rounder...Granollers comes first for Cilic, while Raonic faces Chela???
If they make it, I'm in Raonic's corner. Fresher legs will help. I stand corrected...I didn't pull your link until going back to the mobile ATP website for OOP only to find Chela/Andujar is later today. The mobile site is full of errors, including the above mess. Sorry!

Cilic is coming in playing well, and he'll just be too much for Raonic to handle...

The match is NOT on Tue.
http://www.atpworldtour.com/Scores/Schedule.aspx I guess Cilic asked for a respite for Wed. after St. Peter.

All serve machine in 2.
Cilic is the champ when it comes to mug a match out after reaching the finals or winning a tournament in the previous week. Can´t see Cilic win this even if Raonic played with his left hand. |

Fin. V. Pospisil 6 3 7 J. Isner 3 6 6 11-9 in the tiebreaker!! P was 84% first serve (86% Isner) He's 6 out of 7 matches in the last 2 tournaments. Not shown on broadcast. The reward? He plays Ferrer (1) in the 2nd round. Just great.

Oh poo, two younger players I really like. I think Cilic will win, he's been able to handle big servers before. Will definitely be tougher after a hard week edging out and Tipsy for a title. I'll go with Marin in 3, but I don't mind if Raonic wins.

Great match for Vasek! So happy for him. I said in another thread that it was about this time last year that Milos started his breakout. Maybe it's Vasek's turn this year. He's already jumped up 15 points in the rankings and a couple more wins like this could get him to the top 100. Vamos Vasek!!!!

LSH has both matches listed. Wonder if Sportsnet will be streaming or carrying them.

Cilic plays better on all shots for the time being, but esp 2nd serve returns.
It's gonna be tough to recover from break down again.
