Cvac should be studied by scientists for having such a miraculous turn around in his health in such a short amount of time. It has got to be some kind of record. Lol.
Granted, he would be an interesting case for science, but he's not the only one. At the drop of a hat, I can also think of another player who won some 5-10 mph on his first serve from one day to the next just by, ahem, changing grips, and who then lost the additional speed just as promptly. One must presume he just reverted back to his old grip because the new one was too succesfull...

Nadal never added that much mph to his serve. That's bs. His average serve speed at last years USO wasn't that much different from his average serve speed at Wimby this year. He also has served bigger before that as well but not consistently. Cvac otoh, came out of absolute nowhere to physically dominate everyone on the tour(in less than a month's time)after spending his entire career as a weezing weakling. Sorry, but that sort of increase in stamina and and endurance in a player that has been a wimp for so many years does not compute.

You still have no idea or explanation for Nadal's big serving at USO 2010. Unusual for him. He never served like that prior or since.

It's WHEEZING, not weezing. Unless you meant weeping.

Anyway, its not an increase in stamina and endurance. It's a breathing problem caused by a gluten allergy which is quite common. When you can't breathe, guess what happens ? Ever been unable to breathe ? Once the problem was detected he was able to breathe, and thus practice and run much much better.

What is actually shocking is that it was not detected earlier.

Has Nadal ever been asked in an interview ever since why he abandoned that USO '10 serve ? I find it strange that no one asked him and got an official response.

Nadal will never tell anybody either. Nor will Uncle Toni. You'd think he'd have crushed a few 136mph serves when facing break points against Djokovic at Wimbledon and the USO. Nadal could do nothing.

You of all people know what does or doesn't "compute" in professional sports? Gimme a break. How in the hell would you know ANYTHING about what it takes to compete at that level? Or what is or isn't possible with a top level professional athlete?

Your field of expertise is negativity, something there is very little of in top level sports.

Except for the FO SF, which in retrospect really mattered for him. Winning that would have virtually assured him a CYGS.

Federer is amazing.

But there is no question that Djokovic is a worthy number one.
