Roddic, Sharapova, and Serena were there. But where was the best tennis player of the world?

On holiday I believe, probably somewhere in the Middle or Far East. I sure wouldn't want to cut my holiday short to travel 20 hours to a meaningless awards ceremony in the US

agree.
espy would never be internationally appreciated unless they admit the fact that 'american sports' (ie football) is nothing in the world. |

Roger, being an intelligent and worldly man, most likely opted to do something productive with his time and not grace the self-serving flat-out stupid non-event/ego-fest better known as the Espys.

It just shows that Roger must have really been far superior to the next best player in the last year, that he was able to win the award. After all an American or a popular sex symbol non-American(David Beckham among others)only have to be fairly fair behind to win the award.

I only applauded Reggie Miller's award, because his years in the NBA are memorable.
