Default wilson Blx steam 100

I have two of these racquets. One has the writing wilson on the side of the racquet which mine has also. But my other one hasent got the writing wilson on it. Do you know why??Some one said its just means one of the racquets are the first model and the other one is a series 2 version. The racquet with the writing wilson on the side of the frame plays and feels soo much better than the other one. Which is why Im confused.
Some one also said different country have different paint job? Any help

The original BLX Steam 100 has yellow, and similar to the Juice in paint job. Check out the Wilson website to see the differences.

i don't know if this helps, but the one i have has "BLX" written on the side of the throat in silver against red, and "Wilson" in white against blue. It's identical to what is on Wilson's site (see the 2nd picture and use Zoom): http://www.wilson.com/en-us/tennis/r...tennis-racket/

No idea why one of yours would have a different paint job, or why the OP's has "Wilson" instead of "BLX" on the side of the throat.

Maybe the ones sold in the USA say Wilson and the ones outside of the USA say BLX? I have no idea.

Sorry, no idea. Have you tried contacting Wilson to ask?

FWIW, Wilson just released the BLX Envy 100, which looks like the original Steam 100 BLX, but lighter.

Paul the Steam in the Italian video does look different, in fact the graphics on the frame looks badly done. It's probably a prototype frame.

friend of mine had a Steam 100 crack in his hand on the coaching court last night, I heard it (from the next court over)

cracked right through at 4 and 8, no impact marks at all, just died

is this a 'thing'? or a bit of a one off?
