Default Thinking about going to Palm Springs...

I am thinking about going to Palm Springs next week, any recommendations? Where to play? Is it easy to find a hitting partner? Any advice on activities?
Thanks!

There are tons of free and pay courts around as well as groups to play with. Scope out where you want to stay during the BNP in March...

I highly recommend the JW Marriott. They have a beautiful tennis facility with hard, clay and grass courts. Come to think of it, it's the nicest tennis resort I've ever been to.

Next month Palm Springs has the largest U.S. Tournament, generally about 7-800 persons sign up. It is the Babolat World Tennis Classic......January 22-29......Usually the best players from all over the United States will be there..........In palm springs most of my friends stay at a place called Shadow Mountain Resort and Spa....not the newest place, but there are tons of courts and they will set you up with matches.......

My wife and I will staying in the Palm Springs area at the end of the month for three days. I would really like to hit with someone for an hour or two on a grass or clay court while I'm there. I'm 52 years old and around a 4.0 to 4.5 level player who enjoys playing singles. Thank you for the information!

Just got back and had a great time. I played at the Jackie Cooper Tennis Club. The people there were really friendly and organized a great hit for me within minutes of my phone call. I would definitely go back and play there again! Next time I'll try the JW Marriott.
