^ Looks good, kaku.
Roger will ensure, as in 2011, that: a) Joker does not win the CYGS, 3 slams is fine, though. He must take Joker out in one slam in the semis. b) he restricts Nadal's slam count, thus he should not himself face Nadal in more than 1 slam final. YE 1. Joker 2 & 3. Nadal / Murray 4. Roger |

1) Djokovic
2) Federer 3) Murray 4) Nadal AO- Murray (defeats Djokovic or Federer) FO- Djokovic (defeats Nadal in final) SW19 - Federer (defeats Nadal or Djokovic in the final) USO - Federer (defeats Djokovic in the final) Top 4 will dominate the season, Murray will realize his potential. Djokovic will dominate for the most part, and get the Grand Slam, but will not have a season like last year, he'll reach all GS finals, except maybe Wimbledon. Federer will have his last resurgence, get 2 slams, but will be poor in the Masters 1000. Nadal won't win a slam this year, but will do well in the Masters 1000. WTF - Not the top 4 Olympics - Federer Murray will get 2 masters, Djokovic 2 masters, Nadal will sweep the clay season, Federer will get 1 or 0. --- Yes, I am bold, and there's a 99% chance I'm wrong here, I'll take my chances. Note: I am high on Basalt fibers.

I think it would be good if everyone posted in the same format, easier reading and good for reflection next year.
Top 10 1. Djokovic 2. Nadal 3. Murray 4. Federer 5. Tsonga 6. Ferrer 7. Del Potro 8. Berdych 9. Fish 10.Tipsarevic Slams (Posted this somewhere else already) AO Murray FO Federer TC Murray (TC = The Championships = Wimbledon) US Djokovic Olympics Federer WTF Federer Masters IW: Djokovic Miami: Murray Monte Carlo: Nadal (Murray, maybe - reminders of their last MC match) Madrid: Djokovic Rome: Nadal Toronto: Murray Cinncinati: Federer Shanghai: Murray Paris: Tsonga Breakthrough Tomic - The guy is climbing and will continue to climb. Retire Gonzalez, Ljubicic Other general predictions: - Federer looses, minimum, two slam matches in five sets after being up (match points even) - Two of top 4 skip Asia swing - Nadal skips Paris again due to 'injury of eyelashes' - Djokovic looses early in Wimbledon

Top 10.
1. Nadal 2. Djokovic 3. Murray 4. Tsonga 5. Federer 6. Ferrer 7. Del Potro 8. Tipseravic 9. Berdych 10. Monfils Slams AO Djokovic RG Nadal WIM Nadal USO Djokovic, Nadal or Tsonga Olympics Murray-More a hope then what I think...would be nice for him..realistically, probably Nadal or Federer WTF Tsonga or Murray - Nadal and Novak wiped out, Federer dark horse Not sure about the Masters events. I think Tsonga and Del Potro will hopefully get it together even more and mount challenges at them, maybe even win one. Tsonga will get to a major final, Delpo will also have much better year at the slams in 2012. I think 2012 will reflect a break in the total dominance established by the current top 4. At least one of them will fall from there by the years end and maybe more. Federer will end outside the top 4 if he doesn't do better in 2012then he did in 2011. I think Tsonga will break into the top 4. Delpo will move back into the top 10. Nadal and Novak will take the majors, although Federer might have a swan song run at Wimbledon or the US Open. As for who will retire: Roddick Federer I think will be the one to fall from the top 4, he didnt have a great 2011 by his standards, which was a continued downward slip from his 2010. I really don't see him bouncing back and winning 2 majors after the last 2 years like some have him doing. He may get one, but I think he'd be sort of lucky if he did, he'll probably make a final or 2, but I don't see him winning one as he will likely need to go through Novak and Nadal back to back which well...not likely for him at this point. I actually kind of hope he retires this year. Not because I want to see him go, but if he doesn't have a great year, or has another slip downward in form...I'd rather see him go somewhere near the top then keep going downward. |

I got Murray down for winning a slam and 3 Masters. He's defending 2 Masters and finalist showing in a slam from 2011. So the most in that department he could gain is like 2200.
With Djokovic #1 at 14,000 (Muz 7,300 #4) I cant see too many changes even if Djokovic docks a little in the points.... Ah, OK deep down I didn't it through that far

I don't think he'll retire this year. However, I think he will post much worse results this year. Possibly losing early in a few slams... Federer is amazing. He's been so consistent for so long. What he has done, posting incredible results year after year for over 7 years now is super human. It's the undeniable fact of life - the young get strong and the old get older. I personally would love for Fed to suddenly repeat '04-'07 from '12-'15, but he has to start losing at some point. Also, maybe he re injures his back, loses 10mph on the serve, or 1st serve percentage. Now suddenly he's a top 50 player instead of a top 3... Poop happens and Fed has been pretty lucky in that department...

Hewitt won't retire unless he becomes overwhelmed by chronic injury. He said as much. Don't think Ljubicic has any plans to either.

Top 10
1. Djokovic 2. Nadal 3. Murray 4. Federer 5. Ferrer 6. Del Potro 7. Wawrinka 8. Tsonga 9. Raonic 10. Berdych Majors: AO Djokovic FO Djokovic Wimbledon Nadal USO Federer Olympics Djokovic WTF Djokovic Masters IW: Djokovic Miami: Murray Monte Carlo: Djokovic Madrid: Nadal Rome: Nadal Toronto: Federer Cinncinati: Murray Shanghai: Murray Paris: Federer Breakthrough Cedrik-Marcel Stebe - watch out for this guy, my prediction is top 20 at the end of 2012 Retire This is gonna be a year full of retirements I think..going with 6 out of 9 from the list below ending their pro careers in 2012 Gonzalez, Ljubicic, Hewitt, Ferrero, Roddick, Soderling (unfortunately), Stepanek, Davydenko, Nalbandian Other general predictions: - last year Federer wins a major - even though I predicted Nadal and Federer to win 1 major each in 2012, Djokovic might as well win the CYGS - Roddick to win no titles for the first time since 2000

Wawrinka ending the year at #7. Yeah right. The guy has already peaked, is a huge headcase, and hasnt even been able to make any inroads in last years mostly crap top 10.

Better try some random prediction than go for the obvious. Btw find me 1 person in the entire universe who predicted Almagro Tipsarevic and Fish in the 2011-year-end top 10 or Djokovic completely dominating the first 9 months of the season.

Yeah but isnt there a better random prediction than Headcaserinka. Even Gasquet or Verdasco somehow returning to the top 10 is more likely.
