I honestly don't know how all of his sale ads are still going through the moderators even with all the negative feedbacks.

He is selling racquets left and right. Just look in "For sale" section.

So he's a high volume trader and probably made a mistake.
Just like real traders, he'll advertise stock which he's in process of acquiring. IMHO all traders should be banned, infact entire section should be scrapped.

Once or twice is a mistake but, 4-5 times is a system.

Wow. Umm what happened was I mailed out several packages same day and mislabeled the boxes. He got the racket in the condition I said it was. And I just mailed the string and grip. I did not hear from him so I thought he received the string and grip and I added an extra set of string to make up for the simple mistake. You guys are not fair and don't knew the whole story.

Also I have always fixed every transaction if it didn't go smoothly. I'm not here to con anyone or take anyone for a ride.
I'm sorry you guys hear one end of it and then just go straight on blast. I have good references and had one shaky one which I made good on. |

By the way I have all the emails and the buyer barely contacted letting me know he got the racket or not. No news means good news. He finally emails me saying I guess I should have kept the 2nd racket prompting me to ask what happened. I sold a few other rackets which worked out great and they will be leaving good feedback.

And I had 5 pure storm tours but bc I'm in law school and don't play I was selling them all. I sold 2 sticks to Joe Nguyen and 1 to Ananta Khatri. I boxed them and thought I labeled them correctly.
I messed up simple mistake. Ananta Khatri did a great job and mailed te racket but this was during Xmas and I was out of town. I sent him the shipping money and mailed his string and grip. This week he emailed me saying I should have kept the racket right away I assumed he never got the string and grip. So I sent it yesterday with some extras to correct my simple mistake. No need for all the hate. And every post that I have had a bad reference each one was corrected and the buyer has left a positive remarks. |

http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=231252 Im sorry but this group is just nuts. If you guys want to go and blast me thats fine but have the truth out there. People make shipping mistakes or they have busy lives and get caught up. I always come through, I will admit it stinks sometimes but I always make sure I do right for the buyer or seller. So please before you blast me make sure you read those negative posts made by fearsome forehand and how every person afterwards said they got what I promised in great condition plus some goodies. |

Positive - 10 Negative - 7. It is almost 50/50. For God's sake! Do you think people will want to deal with THAT???? If you take flea bay, with 10 positive and 7 negatives your rating would be around 60%. Try to sell anything with this rating. And by the way, it does not matter(not THAT much) if you make good on the deals that you screw up. Who cares?!!! People are wasting time and energy dealing with your BS. You are simply unreliable. And these days that is not the quality to have. And if you are...as you put it "make shipping mistakes or they have busy lives and get caught up."...then perhaps you should take care of your life and do not waste people's time. Plus, once, twice, three times could be a mistake but, 7 times in such a short period of time....YOU ARE IN MY "BLACK LIST". This is what i think. And i will never buy from this person.

I have never bought anything from him but when I researched his feedback, I became worried. I asked him to call me so we could discuss our possible deal and the emails completely stop! I decided to not deal with him any further. Just my situation and opinion. He never ripped me off personally. Just thought I should clarify.

Hi guys I bought 2 pure storms from pistol Pete. Communication was good but I believe i was sent the wrong package. I was sent the racket with the string and the grip the OP was supposed to receive. Pistol Pete got me the second racket within a week and it was smooth sailing. I for one didn't check references but wouldn't hesitate to deal with pistol Pete again.

Pistol seems to be under the impression that because he eventually corrected the myriad problems people have had with him that all is well and no one should have any concerns about dealing with him. While he isn't a scammer, he does seem to have an inordinate number of complaints and smart people should not ignore that fact. (See Kot's post above for details.)
I received the following email from the Pistol. Apparently, I and his other critics are the problem, not him, and we have judged him unfairly. Hey next time you blast me please do some research. Every transaction you posted on the TW forum was corrected and if you go look at my response I have added links showing that every single one you posted corrected there statement saying I delivered as promised. I understand your concern for the TW community and board and respect that, however, please make sure you dig a little deeper than just the bare surface. This new post which you responded to the guy never emailed me telling me he either got the racket and didn't receive the grips. Then when I told him I will mail out the grips he waits like 10 days to tell me that he should have kept the racket. All I am saying is that communication goes 2 ways and its so easy for someone just to get on the forum and blast. So please appreciate and understand where I am coming from. Thanks Well, counselor, what you don't seem to get is that these little tennis racket transactions are supposed to be very simple. Person X sends Person Y money for an item. Person Y ships the item (as described) in a timely manner (with 2 to 3 days max.) Person Y receives said item within a week. Communication (including tracking info) is great throughout the process and at the end, everyone is happy, no problems, no worries, no more emails, no chasing after the other party for a resolution, no excuses or apologies required, etc. In a word, easy. Such transactions should not involve a buyer chasing after a seller trying to get what he paid for, or a buyer having to ship a racket out to a third party because the seller is so scattered that he can't box up a freaking racket correctly, etc. No one wants, or needs, this type of complication; it so unnecessary. I suggest instead of blaming me or the others in this thread who have criticized your past business practices, maybe you should take a little more care in your future dealings and get them right in the first place. The fact that so many people were unhappy enough that they felt compelled to post a negative (or a WTF?) post in the reference section regarding their dealings with you speaks for itself. The fact that you may have corrected matters eventually is all but moot. The problems themselves are the issue. Who needs the added hassle? If you spent as much time getting your deals done correctly as you did defending your miscues, you (and your buyers) would not have had the problems in the first place. Are you a scammer; no. Are you a pain to deal with, apparently yes. If people want to deal with you despite your track record of having these little problems with what should be very simple transactions that is their prerogative. You are fortunate that the people you have dealt with have been so forgiving and gracious as to still leave a positive feedback despite the unnecessary complications. I have to wonder why they would do so (as the fellow above did; very nice of him given the circumstances) because these deals are pretty badly f'ed up IMHO. Introspection is a good thing. Try it sometime. Last edited by Fearsome Forehand : 01-20-2012 at 08:05 AM. |
