It was incredibly excessive and stupid but I won't bash him for it because he had just won a 6 hour match.

Same with Nadal's celebration after winning the 4th set. Has that ever happened? A guy dropping on his knees when there is a set of tennis still to be played.

Nadal was celebrating after almost every point as it were match point towards the later stages of the 4th set.

It's so valiant how Nadal willed himself to get up after dropping to his knees or Nole having the energy to rip his shirt off........

Nadal was overjoyed that he had managed to avoid going out in 4 sets for the first time in their last 3 Grand Slam finals!

Thought both guys' reactions (Nadal to winning the 4th, Joker to winning the match) were awesome, and totally fitting with the testosterone-laden aura of the match. Shame the tennis wasn't that great mind.

I really like Djokovic and was pulling for him today. However the way he celebrates in front of his camp after he wins a match always creeps me out. He bellows like a bull; his face goes red and crazy-looking; he arches his body and screams at the sky. I guess that shows how much he cares about his wins, though.

What I really like is Djokovic giving away his racket. I dont expect players to do this after every match or even after winning a random tournament, but after winning a grand slam I think it's awesome especially if it goes to a kid.

I think that should become a tradition at grand slam tournaments ... the winner should give away all the sticks in his bag to kids in the audience.

So from a total Federer fan ... well done Djokovic, You're a class act.

P.S. I want more impressions

I can live without the Tim Tebow-esque Jesus stuff myself. Talk about creepy.

What does he do? All I've ever seen him do is cross himself, which is hardly "creepy" levels of religious expression. Have I missed something?

I usually hate Djoker's celebrations, but I loved what he did after he won last night.

Well, one would expect a huge reaction after winning a 6 hour match. It's still hard to fathom how he won it. He was so close to defeat...

I could do without the idiotic ripping off the shirt and howling deal. Show some class.

But that was an awesome match. Just incredible.

The combo of Rafas 4th set celebration and Djok's shirtless roar were hilarious. Anything goes in the final.

Yes. It was becoming quite annoying. Nadal was acting like he had just won Wimbledon after winning every point, and that his pet just died after losing every point. It was very much a drama queen performance.

Happy Nole won.

(And by the way, Nadal needs to take lessons from Federer on how to roar.)

I loved the big T round his neck and how he made the sign of the T so often, the baby jesus surely cared about this match.

Classless. I really hope he doesn't try that at Wimbledon.

Was justified considering the circumstance, both players were celebrating like crazy at times, was a really great match to watch.
