^^^

Because of that post I saw the debut of the missing link.

Was that guy ever popular? That debut was pretty bad. He just slugged on SD Jones for a bout 2 minutes did a powerslam and some kind of flying headbutt/forearm.

It was kinda funny when Heenan had to run backstage becuase he didnt come out and Gorilla said

In the WWF only 6 mos. Imagine Steele, the Link, and Kamala in a triple nogginknocker dance. 1st guy to eat the most turnbuckles wins.

Smackdown was OK, didnt exactly liek the ending of the Del Rio Shamus match. I guess Del Rio gets a title shot at next PPV or something

Also now that AJ is done with D. Bryan (hopefully) bring back Katlyn's thickness to television. That chickbusters deal was kinda funny as well.

They love pushing Del Rio. He is pretty good even if his gimmick has run its course. The car thing was cool for the first couple of weeks but the mexican JBL thing has run its course.

Brock should not be on a mic. Seriously dont let him talk ever. Let Jonny Ace talk for him as bad as he is at it but dont put a mic in front of Brock again.

I hope they bring back some aggression to Cena through this. They seem to be hinting at it and that will be great for his character. I love his telling the crowd the heel turn aint coming. Great way to stay face with the kids and give the people an actually reason to hate you.

ADR to me is stale and it was stale after the first month. Its just like you said, Its JBL all over again. The guy has ability and IMO its being wasted on his gimmick. They cant let Shamus win the belt in 18sec and have him lose it in two months can they?

I think for now ADR is filling the Heel role for the summer stretch. Are they preppin for another Mexico tour soon? If so maybe he does carry the strap for a bit.

Brock on the mic will lose any ability to stay a face at all. He is hard guy to like if you listen to him talk. Maybe Bring back Sable (his wife) to the talking for him. Heyman has said he hasnt been asked to come back. I think WWE fans would love to see Heyman in Brocks corner again.

The Cena thing can go a bunch of different ways. Hopefully one way isnt jobbin to Brock at next WM. I heard rumor that they are setting up a Brock vs Rock title match. Big mistake if thats true.

Brock's not supposed to be the good guy - coming out and siding with Johnny last night made that pretty clear. Cena's probably going to take some time off after he presumably loses to Lesnar, then maybe come back for Summerslam for a rematch. That's not dirt sheet stuff, just my estimation.

Meanwhile Lesnar may go after Orton next, then take down Punk for the belt since Punk and Ace already don't get along. That's how I see it playing out. I hate how everyone wants everyone to be great at everything. Brock isn't' that bad on the mic, he's not Punk/Rock/Austin level or even Cena on the mic but he gets the point across and gets the crowd into what he's saying. Similar to Mark Henry in that sense.

That segment to start the show was great though. Shades of Tyson/Austin from back in the day.

Dude, even my granddaughter crack'd on Lesnar's voice on Smackdown. Brock needs to get lean.

Brock is bad on the mic. I love him in ring one of the better monsters out there. But he is a prime candidate for a manager. Its not a bad thing. Heenen used to put guys over all the time who struggled on the mic thats what they need back.

Punk and Jericho are really going at it so I dont see how Lesner jumps in that. Unless he pushes Jericho out of the way but they are building for at least one more ppv match with those two.

Orton and Kane are still going strong. So not sure I agree with that one either.

I do agree he will kayfabe hurt Cena so Cena can take a break. Seriously when was the last time he had time off?

Punk and Jericho and Orton/Kane are both likely going to have feud enders at Extreme Rules. Punk's likely going to take out Jericho and send him away for awhile again. Same with Orton and Kane, though Kane will likely stay around and may even turn face since he does at least once a year it seems.

They're going to be pushing Brock hard it seems. Why else would they put him against Cena so soon instead of holding off until Summerslam for that one? I can see Brock running through Cena, then having a feud w/ Orton w/ a match at Over The Limit, then going at Punk for the title at No Way Out/Money in the Bank. Cena comes back after Lesnar wins/retains the title at MITB and they have a match at Summerslam for the title. Possibly even let Cena go over since he's been crapped on for the past few weeks now.

The last time Cena had extended time off was late 07 when he had an injury, then came back and won the 08 Rumble. They have to push Lesnar as a heel. There's just not enough strong heels for him to go up against as a face, while as a heel he can run through the guys I mentioned (Cena, Punk, Orton).

Good luck. Raw hasn't been interesting or entertaining in nearly a decade. The 'E hasn't had a great PPV year since '05, either. With the rock and lesnar back (both kinda, sorta), this is the company's best opportunity in years to make themselves relevant again.

They cant get him heel heat as long as he is against Cena. Cena is at that point Hogan was at before his heel turn. The older crowd hates the guy with a passion. People are cheering Lesner low blowing him. Heels are supposed to get booed when that happens so I dont see Lesner getting heel heat. He is over alot but heel heat he isnt gonna get.

I semi-agree. The product has been struggling and yes JBF is right they are thin at the top.

Oddly enough their best matches have been on NXT lately. some of those guys can really put a solid match together but the show was taken off tv which is a shame.

There are certain people that are going to cheer Brock NO MATTER WHAT. Of course he's a heel now since he sided with Ace. The Cena feud is just to get him over as a heel with the kids and Cena fans (yes there are some, not everyone hates the guy). Then he can move onto Orton and get even more heel heat, then beat Punk for the title and get mega heat from the internet/smarky crowd. The crowd reaction will change in due time, that's not a big deal right now. But they're pushing him to be a mega heel, that much is clear.

Didnt see RAW, but I can understand why they would use Brock in that capacity. Maybe when my buddy told me they are setting up Brock vs Rock WM for the title he isnt that far off.

But that Diverticulitis really affected him. He lost way too much muscle mass and doesnt have that same beast appeal. Id say Batista at this point probably would have been better to come in and take the monster heel role.

Did they do anythign with Tensai on RAW? I still got 4 more weeks of bowling so I usually catch the replays on Universal HD later in the week.
