Miss State comes back but Kentucky holds them off to take the doubles point winning 8-6 at 2 and 8-3 at 3. I think UK was serving up 7-6 at 1 when they stopped it.

Georgia playing down to Alabama instead of making Bama play up. Dawgs barely pulled out the doubles point winning 9-8 at #3. Bama has taken 3 1st sets and Reddy about to finish off Taboada in straights. Disappointing effort so far by Georgia.

Lots of close sets in the Miss State/Kentucky match. Every 1st set was 7-5 or 7-6 except for #5 singles.

edit: and he does fight all the way back and wins 7-5. But Nick Jones fought back at to knot it at 5-5 in 3rd. Simpson comes from 3-0 down to make it 3-3. Lots of drama still left. SC needs both remaining courts.

Well I wasn't close on my pick of the Kentucky/Mississippi State match. Kentucky won all but one court although many were close.

Kentucky handles Mississippi State 6-1. Very impressed win.
Florida dominated Arkansas as expected and won 7-0.
Georgia looked pretty poor but still won over Alabama 5-2. Spencer won his match when Doverspike retired at 5 all in the 3rd with cramps.
LSU picked up a hard fought 4-3 win over South Carolina. All 3 matches at the top of the lineup were wars with LSU winning 2 of the 3 which turned out to be the difference.
Ole Miss beat Vanderbilt 6-1. 4 singles matches went the distance
Tennessee got it done on the road beating Auburn 5-2.

Should be plenty of good matches on Sunday. Kentucky played really well in beating Mississippi State so we will see if they can get the Mississippi sweep. Georgia looked sluggish against Alabama and if they play that way again Auburn is good enough to beat them. Florida will beat LSU but LSU is good enough to keep it close. Vandy could give Miss State a run after MSU came up short against Kentucky. South Carolina and Arkansas should be a competitive one too. I'll say the only blowout will be Tennessee over Alabama.
