The 6004 is the newer version of the 6002.
the 6004 has the switch action base clamps, metal string clamps and a turntable with in-laid machined glide bars for the lever base clamps. the 6002 should have the wing knob base clamps, fiberglass (frp) string clamps and a one piece turntable unless somebody bought an upgrade along the line. all the other parts are the same. bret |

I had a 6002 before my 6004. For some reason, the turntable on the 6002 was not nearly as stable as the 6004. I think the 6004 is a great improvement over the 6002.

jatennis,
How do you like your 6004? I just purchased one that will arrive next week. I'm getting back into stringing my own racquets after stringing professionally in my late teens many years ago. Anthony |
