sounds like me, i sold 2 and bought 4 the last couple of weeks. i'm hooked.

keep those you plan to use
sell or auction off those that are in demand
donate the rest

I hear ya, bra.

Tell her it is your own personal stimulus program. That you are doing your part to get the economy moving again. The multiplier effect and such.

I like the demo line but I suppose you can only use that one so often before it loses all credibility.

The solution: A secret storage unit that is billed to your office. She'll never know.

I still like the how many shoes do you own gambit. No woman can really make a case about your racket total when she is harboring
as many or more pairs of shoes. I have my rackets, you have your shoes. It is all good, babe.

Located in one of the most exquisite neighborhood in the Twin Cities, MN, the house of DW probably has multiple car garages. Thus, storage space should not be an issue (unless he also collects classic cars), not to mention that bulk of his collection has recently been auctioned off with decent prices. The new Prestige 600s went for $400+ per racquet. Most of the racquets (PP600, PC600, PT630) were sold to only about 4 or 5 high bidders (rollers). They are either loaded or planning to resell them at a healthy profit margin.

I was joking, of course, but I never underestimate the power of nagging.

Yes, the brown/green Prestiges went for 400 each and the same guy bought both lots (6 for about 2400.) Doubt it is a re-seller because they would not be able mark them up much, if at all. (Edit, Wrong! It was a re-seller and I shudder to think what he will ask for them, 1500+/each?) Seems true of most of the rackets as the prices were pretty high. (Edit, I spotted a couple of flippers, one is a minor flipper.) Paying full blown retail prices doesn't leave any room for flippers to profit. Hopefully, the rackets went to people who will actually play with them. (Edit: For the most part, that seems to be the case.) Seems like there were quite a few different buyers of the 22 lots.(Edit, Maybe 10 buyers) I think the flippers got priced out. (Edit, most of them did.)

Agree, most of these rackets went to player(s) that have $$$ and can afford to pay for the rackets that they really love and still play. I believe this is also proof that for some players, these rackets are still better weapons than any more modern racket ever made to replace them. I believe this buyer (brown/green Prestiges) was buying them for some player clients.

I would have loved to get another prestige pro as I play the pc600s and have one mint pro that I love hitting. Oh well, I will not pay that much for a hitter.

One of the bidders who got a set of 4 Head Radical Tour MP from David wheaton's collection is selling one of them for 4x the cost at evil bay. I am anticipating more racquet listings at exorbitant prices will show up soon.

What i would do is let a good friend take care of them for a while until they your wife doesn't notice anymore and just bring them back accept inside suitcases.
