Super guy and coach.
He was with Illinois for a couple years. Finally got his coaching gig I guess. Tough conference to go to though.

this guy is a total gem.. he's been around and knows how and what it takes to be an ''elite'' D1 team.. he was of an everything coach at USC .. he deserves his time as 'head coach'... good luck to G.Husack.. USC's men's team will mis him dearly..

I think bama could have done better, he walked into the team he had at usc and his record at illinois and santa clara is avg at best.....should have went with more of a proven coach, I'm happy as I don't think they will now be a threat to the gators

On the Women's Side: An upcoming coach is Patrick Sullivan, he helped recruit at SMU that brought them to prominence, he recruited well at Arkansas. He shot SFA into the rankings in just 2 seasons and now he is the UH head coach and I would expect to see them challenging Tulsa within 1-2 yrs for CUSA Title and expect Sullivan to be at a Major School within 3-5 years. He is a great recruiter and uses the talent well.

Ooops I forgot they are moving, so change my statement some what to challenging Notre Dame for the Big East Title.

Thanks for the correction.

Great move by Coach Mal Moore on this one! The Bama Nation is excited about this hire and the future of Crimson Tide tennis. Welcome to the family Coach Husack! Roll Tide.

I am happy to see a NorCal guy get a chance to be a head coach in a great conference. I remember him when he was at Santa Clara and he usually had his teams around the 60-70's in the rankings. I wish him nothing but the best. I do agree with 77777777 that anyone could have walked into USC at the time he did and done very well. He will get his oppertunity, lets see what he can make of it.
